Whether you’re new to dance or coming back after a hiatus, our adult classes are the perfect place to kindle a new passion or reignite an old flame!

Join our adult ballet class to rediscover grace and discipline in a supportive environment, perfect for beginners and those returning to dance, focusing on improving flexibility, strength, posture, and artistic expression.

What to Wear: Leotards and tights with ballet shoes are most welcome. Optional cover-ups such as ballet skirts, leggings, fitted tops, dance shorts, or comfortable athletic wear is also appropriate, as long as they allow the instructor to see and correct body alignment.

Experience the thrill of our adult heels dance class, open to both men and women. Learn dynamic choreography infused with elements of jazz and hip-hop, all while wearing heels. Perfect for dancers of all levels, this class focuses on building confidence, mastering fluid movements, and enhancing personal style.

What to Wear: Comfortable dance attire that allows for movement, and heels with ankle support that you feel confident dancing in. Men are encouraged to wear dance-appropriate clothing that allows for ease of movement, along with heels suitable for dancing.

This is intro to Oriental Belly Dancing! Learn basic hip lifts, shimmy movements, fluid interpretations of the music and more! Build speed and a love of Oriental culture.

What to Wear: Comfortable, fitted sportswear and a hip scarf or a large, light scarf that can be tied around the body. Barefeet, ballroom shoes, or dance footies/sole savers.

Stretch classes work on flexibility to help dancers recover from dance classes and avoid injuries.

Our Body Flow class for seniors is a gentle and uplifting movement session designed to improve flexibility, balance, and overall well-being. This class combines elements of stretching, dance, and breath work to promote relaxation and mobility in a supportive environment.

What to Expect:

  • Gentle stretching to improve flexibility
  • Light rhythmic movements inspired by dance

What to Wear: Comfortable, stretchy athletic wear is appropriate, as long as you’re comfortable!

This class is designed for older adults who want to explore artistic expression, learn new techniques, and enjoy the therapeutic benefits of art.

In cardio classes, adults get to sweat for an hour with high intensity movements and small dance combos. A stretch and cool-down is also included.

The first wedding dance class is a special and exciting experience for couples preparing for their big day. During this class, couples will learn the basic steps and techniques for their first dance, whether it’s a traditional waltz or a more contemporary style. With the help of experienced instructors, couples will feel confident and comfortable on the dance floor, ready to wow their guests and make lasting memories on their wedding day. Participation in Resolute Studios Dance classes requires a mandatory $48 annual GO Sports Liability insurance fee, covering September 1st to August 31st each year, which is paid directly to the insurance and non-refundable. Auto billing applies if not paid by the first class. There is no need to pay this if you are have current GO insurance via Rideau Gymnastics.
